Dr. Wamika Kumar, OD
Dr. Wamika Kumar was awarded her Doctorate from the Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry where she served as president of Women In Optometry. She furthered her optometric training by doing a residency in Ocular Disease and Refractive Surgery at Clay-Rhynes Eye Clinic in Durant, Oklahoma and RGB Eye Associates in Sherman, Texas. Along with treatment and management of ocular disease, Dr. Kumar also specializes in fitting patients in specialty contact lenses and various different types of eyeglasses.
A member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, and Dallas Optometric Society, Dr. Kumar stays up to date with the latest studies, treatments, and medical innovations in optometry.
In her free time, Dr. Kumar likes to run, ski, play pickleball, and spend time outdoors.
